Every Cake Is Different
Welcome to Lucy's Indulgence. I love to bake birthday cakes without the use of white flour, artificial colouring or white sugar. I personally pick and choose the ingredients which are of better quality. These are better for you and your health. I choose ingredients such as: Spelt Flour, Free Range Eggs, Brown Sugar, Good Quality Dark Chocolate (70%) and so on.

Sponge
You can choose either from vanilla, chocolate, nutty or carrot cake variation. You name it, I can bake it! I also make brownies, pavlovas, tarts and fancies.

Filling
The filling is made on mascarpone base, I use this cream to cover/fill the entire cake, sometimes leaving the sides visible. This is called the 'naked cake'. Between each layer is a fresh fruit or homemade orange or lemon curd. See website for variations.
Something On Top
The top of the cake, tart or gateau can be quality chocolate ganache or salted caramel drip. The cake can be decorated with fresh fruit, macarons, chocolate, fresh flowers, chocolate name or numbers.

'Lucy made us a cake for our friend’s baby shower. It was undoubtably the centre piece of the table! Everyone commented on how stunning it was and it tasted every bit as good as it looked! The sponge was beautiful and the filling was so light yet rich in flavour. We love that Lucy uses natural ingredients, spelt flour and non-refined sugars. This makes her cakes perfect for families.
