Conservation, B&B, Permaculture, Beavers & The Wild Wood
Blaeneinion is an idyllic and secluded conservation project set in 75 acres of land at the head of the Artists Valley, near Machynlleth in West Wales. We aim to create an inspiring conservation, recreation and educational resource that can be enjoyed by future generations and will provide more habitat and abundance with each passing season.
Blaeneinion is a unique and special place to enjoy a few days with your children, friends or a companion exploring the local area, mushroom foraging or looking for lichens, insects or collecting bilberries, preparing meals together or fashioning ornate staffs from local green wood can fill your day in a rewarding and simple way. Some folk simply come to rest, read a good book and catch up on some sleep and sanity. There are stunning walks directly from your front door, and if you arrive with supplies and are well organised, there is no need to get into a car for days! We have a number of wetland pools on site created by the Beaver Family – some are just deep enough to swim in, and although it’s not quite ‘white water rafting’, some time out on the kayaks is very good fun and enjoyed by children and adults alike!
