PELVIC SCAN & CONSULTATION WITH CONSULTANT GYNAECOLOGIST

Besides offering early pregnancy scan and consultation service with Mr Aamir Khan (Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist), we are delighted to launch a new specialist service offering a pelvic scan and consultation at our Ultrasound Centre.

This would be open to all women who have any concerns about their gynaecological health and wish to see a specialist Consultant Gynaecologist who would be able to provide a one-stop ultrasound and consultation service in a relaxed and reassuring environment. Mr. Khan is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology and works at one of the largest and busiest women's hospitals in UK (Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital).

There can be several reasons why this service might interest you, some of which may include heavy/painful or irregular periods, pelvic discomfort/pain, concerns about ovarian cysts/polycystic ovaries, ensuring your coil is correctly sited or you may just want to make sure everything is OK (peace of mind!).

Mr. Khan is also able to provide a gynaecological consultation (without pelvic scan) for those who don’t need a pelvic ultrasound but want to discuss their gynaecological concerns (ie removal of existing coil, abnormal/bothersome discharge, complex contraception needs, etc) in a calm setting at their own convenience.
